gorgeous, masterful and deceptively simple piano work moves gingerly through a number of scales and modes, growing as it does so. The intensity, not the volume or the harmony, grows and grows, never quite reaching a crescendo and crashing down, it just keeps going. Eventually the intensity needs to be met by shrill and burning electronic blasts that do ebb, flow, and yes, crescendo. The two sounds world sync well together until reaching a natural and satisfying end.
